New STREAM Lab
We are eager to unveil our brand new STEAM lab! Through hands-on learning experiences, children actively engage in scientific experiments, engineering projects, and interactive activities. Collaboration is a key component of STEAM projects, fostering teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills as students work together to overcome challenges. The emphasis on real-world relevance in STEAM education allows students to see the practical applications of the concepts they study, making learning more meaningful. Students are exposed to technology integration by using various digital tools and resources. These activities nurture creativity and innovation by providing opportunities for students to design and build, cultivating a sense of entrepreneurial thinking. As students in middle school presented their Science Fair projects Pre-Algebra students presented review lessons in Probability and Statistics using Google Slides presentations that included links to tutorials, it reminds us just how much integration and implementation is involved in our day to day living. As teachers, we try to facilitate learning opportunities that allow students to problem solve, to be innovative, and to see how all of our subject matter can be integrated, not just in the STREAM lab but in every class, and how it relates to the real world. |
