Our Curriculum
LANGUAGE ARTS
The Language Arts curriculum for each grade level is designed to progressively introduce students to diverse literary and informational texts, developing reading skills, comprehension strategies, text comparison, and analysis. A strong emphasis is placed on writing, grammar, vocabulary, and spelling in order for students to master the art of the written word.
MATHEMATICS
Our math curriculum allows students to master math concepts aligned with 21st Century Standards. Our instruction emphasizes the development of a thorough understanding of comprehensive mathematical practices with a focus on critical thinking and technology.
SOCIAL STUDIES
In the Social Studies curriculum, students explore topics such as family structure, celebrations, communities, map reading, traditions, and geography. Areas of focus encompass content in World History, Civics, Geography, and American History.
SCIENCE
Our youngest learners begin studying topics such as animals, plants, and ocean conservation. By the time they reach fifth grade, they engage in experiments and showcase science projects. Moving into middle school, students investigate life science, basic chemistry, and physics through activities like collaborative projects, and hands-on experiments.
STREAM EDUCATION
Fostering a comprehensive academic foundation goes beyond traditional education, offering students opportunities to delve into the realms of STEM concepts and partake in STREAM activities, encompassing Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. These activities not only facilitate collaborative problem-solving but also cultivate critical thinking skills through experiential, hands-on learning experiences.
ELECTIVES
