From the Principal's Desk (Sept. 2, 2022)

Dear Parents,

This week in Mass, Fr. Bob spoke about the story of Jesus appearing to Simon Peter in the boat after a long night of unsuccessful fishing. He told Peter to cast out his nets again. Although tired and uncertain of what benefit this would reap, Simon Peter did as the Master told him and cast out his nets. As we all know how the story ends, the nets and boat became filled with fish and Simon realized what had happened. He along with his brother Andrew and James and John, the sons of Zebedee, became Jesus' followers. He told them that he would make them " fishers of men". We too are encouraged to follow Jesus and to do as much good as possible, be the deed large or small; and each of these contributions can make a difference in the life of another.

The faculty and I will be spending the rest of this semester, teaching, modeling and living the theological virtue of Charity. We want our young people to know and love God and one another, and to realize that as a school community, we are committed to helping one another live out the life God intended for each of us.

Have a fantastic Labor Day weekend with family and friends.

Yours In Christ,

Rita M. Klenk
