From the Principal's Desk Dear Parents and Families, This month in Religion classes, the teachers and students have been talking about how we show respect for all life and ways in which we can be respectful of one another and mindful of living out our lives in the manner in which God intended for us. The teachers have been discussing the lives of the saints as we prepare to celebrate All Saint's Day and attend Mass next Tuesday. The lives of the saints were so varied and their call to sainthood did not look the same for each of them. Fr. Bob spoke about St. Thomas Aquinas yesterday in his homily. This great theologian, and Doctor of the church defined love as "the choice to will the good of the other", meaning that we should always look for ways to want the best for others and when we are able to, help them to achieve such. As we enjoy our first big school and parish event of the year, our Trunk or Treat tonight, may we all enjoy the evening and one another's company and look forward to more to come. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered for this event to help make it amazing for our students and families. Have a super weekend and stay safe with all of the community events going on around town. Yours In Christ, Rita M. Klenk |
