We are excited to be back! I hope that everyone enjoyed their Christmas time with your families and friends.
This week albeit a short week, was one in which we recognized the feast days of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and St. John Neumann, two of our school saints, on January 4th and 5th; and the Feast of the Epiphany which will be celebrated at our regular weekend Masses.
Both St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and St. John Neumann were instrumental in the history of Catholic education. They modeled what it means to hear God's call and to go out amongst the people doing good and loving and serving others.
As we are encouraged at the start of every new year to strive to be our best in our charitable actions towards others and to use the unique gifts and talents that God has given each of us, we look forward to the second semester and the many moments and opportunities that we will have to teach and learn with and from our students. We are blessed and grateful that your family is a part of our school community and look forward to continuing to grow.
I invite you to join me on Wednesday, January 11th, at 8 am, for the next parent, HSA Meeting. We will meet in the Social Hall and I will bring the donuts and coffee! Come get involved, share your ideas and make some new Epiphany School friends.
Have a great weekend.
Yours in Christ,
Rita M. Klenk
