From the Principal's Desk (Jan. 20, 2023)

Dear Parents,

This week I learned a valuable lesson about the act of "waiting". Admittedly, while I can be very patient about certain things and realize that some of the best things in life, like fresh yeast based bread, the wonderful ending in a story or movie, flowers in full bloom, or the end result of a given project coming together, I find myself "pacing" in some other respects.

Fr. Bob often speaks about listening to and hearing God's call in our lives. He talks about God's plan for us and how it may not fit into the same timeline we see for ourselves. This serves as a reminder to me that I must not only take time to silence the world around me each day to spend time with God in prayer but equally as importantly, I must ask God to direct me as to what I should be doing each day and how that lends itself to loving and helping others.

Next Thursday, we will have the presentation of second quarter honor roll awards after the Thursday morning Mass, for students in grades 3-8. Please feel free to join us and recognize the efforts of our young people.

Have a great weekend.

Yours In Christ,

Rita M. Klenk
