From the Principal's Desk (Dec. 9, 2022)

Dear Parents,

This week our students have been in a period of preparation: for the celebration of Christ's birth, the Christmas program, the Live Nativity, midterms and final tests of the marking quarter. Each in its own right requires effort on the part of each person. The teachers and staff are also in a period of preparation as well.

Fr. Simeon celebrated our School Mass yesterday. It was a Holy Day, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary. He spoke about Mary saying "Yes" to God and becoming the mother of Jesus. He spoke about how each of us are presented with situations in which we are called to say "Yes" to those things we are being asked to do. He talked about how each "Yes" determines what happens next and that God has a plan for each one of us. Allowing God to guide us in our lives enables us to walk in faith even when we do not know what God's plan may be...yet.

As we have the Christmas Program tonight and Live Nativity and School Christmas Party on Saturday, I look forward to seeing all of you this weekend at both. They are sure to be a time of faith, hope, and fellowship.

Have a great weekend.

Yours in Christ,

Rita M. Klenk
