As we wrap up this marking quarter and reflect on the first semester, there is SO much to be grateful for here at Epiphany.
Our faculty, staff, and students are thriving. We have been working together to live out our new mission this year, in providing a nurturing learning community in which virtues and values are fostered and grown, in forming disciples of Christ.
Last weekend's Christmas Program, Live Nativity and Christmas Party were enjoyed by many from the School and Church! The social hall was filled with people, wall to wall, as Santa visited and families and faculty enjoyed each other's company.
This week in school, there have been a flurry of Advent and Christmas projects and activities amidst the midterms and final tests of the quarter. We were reminded in multiple ways that the season is about giving and not receiving. Giving a smile, one's time, a compliment, or thoughtful gift, bringing joy to another person's life.
I pray that all of you will continue to enter into the Christmas season with a joyful heart, anticipating the birth of Christ and the promise of His love for us.
I look forward to spending two more full days of school on December 19th and 20th with our young people, and to a new year filled with many more new and positive possibilities for our school and all its families! Merry Christmas and a very safe and blessed New Year.
Yours in Christ,
Rita M. Klenk
