From the Principal's Desk
The first day of school is always exciting!
New people, new school supplies, new teachers, new opportunities to learn and grow. It was great to see the many smiling faces of students and their families alike. For kindergarten parents it may have been mixed with emotion as they dropped off their student and began a new experience. For the parents of our 8th graders, it is the realization that in less than a year, their student will be heading off to high school.
The students all seemed to leave happy and maybe a bit tired. Spending lunchtime with all of the groups and visiting the classrooms gave me a chance to chat with many of the students. All seemed content in renewing old friendships and creating new ones as well.
This year, we hope that all of our families will be actively involved with our school programs and events. Gathering together as a school family with our own families allows for everyone to build new relationships and create a safe, faith filled, and fun place for every child to grow up.
We as a faculty and staff have listened and heard our families when they asked that we keep the lines of communication open and we will do our very best to inform you about classroom policies and procedures, homework/projects, upcoming events and school wide information.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the Parent Nights next week. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out and contact me via email at [email protected] or call the office at (386)752-2320.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Yours In Christ,
