From the Principal's Desk (3/4/22)

Dear Parents,
This week we attended Mass on Ash Wednesday. In the Catholic Church, Ash Wednesday signifies the start of Lent. Lent is a time to reflect on our relationship with God and repent for our sins. We are encouraged to pray, fast and almsgiving, finding ways in which we can help others in generosity, service, and deed. Fasting can be from food, but it can also be from negative thoughts, words, and actions. We can pray for one another and for those in the world around us.
The flowers that are beginning to bloom are an indication of what is to come--springtime and the celebration of Easter. So many things to look forward to as we wrap up our third marking quarter and begin the countdown to the end of the school year and summer.
Let us spend the forty days of Lent to reflect on the many blessings we have, and to deepen our relationship with God, as we reach out to others with a kind and loving heart.
Enjoy the weekend.
Yours In Christ,
Rita M. Klenk
