This week we had a Lenten Church Mission at Epiphany Catholic Church. Dr. Bryan Thatcher, MD, founder of Eucharistic Apostles of the Divine Mercy, was the speaker. He spoke about Divine Mercy and St. Faustina. His stories were about his own faith journey and the journey of others, as well as the life of St. Faustina. He spoke about Jesus' unending love for each of us and our call to love Him and others.
Yesterday, Fr. Bob spoke about our relationship with Jesus. He talked about how the Bible says to "Be not afraid", and that our relationship with God can sustain us through any situations. The message of "Be not afraid", appears in a multitude of ways, countless times, in the Bible readings. Our continual faith in Him and our love, honor, and prayers, deepen our relationship with God in our life. Regardless of the situation or questions we may hold in our hearts, that the answer is always Jesus Christ.
Today we prayed the Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in union with the Holy Father. Students, faculty, staff, and parishioners joined together in prayer in the Social Hall at noon, as the prayer was livestreamed from the Catholic Center chapel, with Bishop Estevez.
May we continue to pray for a peaceful end to the turmoil, and may we encourage our children to continually develop their relationship with Jesu
Yours In Christ,
